People in all walks of life suffer from phobias which hold them back from moving forward in their lives. Whether it is a common phobia such as public speaking, flying, spiders, sickness, birds, enclosed spaces or a less common one such as baked beans and tickling - you name it, someone, somewhere will suffer from a phobia of it.
Phobias have traditionally been dealt with through desensitisation therapy, which involves a long drawn out painful process of gradually exposing people to their fears. This has now been shown to be slow and outdated as more effective methods have proven more successful.
The 'Phobia Elimination Programme' with John Plester uses a powerful combination of the most effective techniques such as NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), TFT (Thought Field Therapy) and hypnosis to eliminate fears and phobias quickly. The first session lasts 90 minutes and is designed to eliminate the fear or phobia. You are then encouraged to test the elimination of the phobia to ensure it has worked successfully prior to returning for your next session. The second session lasts 60 minutes and is designed to enable you to develop greater and greater confidence in dealing with the things that you used to avoid. This support is important in order to ensure that you overcome the problem permanently.
John is a specialist in the treatment of phobias and has helped hundreds of people overcome their fears and phobias over the years. He also trains other therapists in using these techniques and has demonstrated the effectiveness of his methods in public demonstrations on numerous occasions. He has regularly assisted Paul Mckenna on his phobia elimination seminars in London and is one of the few consultants in the UK to have been recommended phobia clients by Paul McKenna's company.
